New Zealand’s high-energy Musical Island Boys combine four-part harmonic excellence with the class and elegance of their Pacific roots, delivering electrifying performances to audiences worldwide. Having won the 2004 Pan Pacific Title and receiving the ‘Most Entertaining Quartet’ award in consecutive New Zealand Competitions, the Musical Island Boys made history in 2006, securing International Championship Collegiate Gold, being the first quartet from outside of the United States to capture the prestigious trophy.

    In 2009, the quartet made their debut in the International Open Men’s division, becoming the first non-American quartet in the 70 years of the Barbershop Harmony Society to make the elite of the Barbershop Harmony world. For this, they received the Dealer’s Choice Award, given to the highest scoring quartet on debut.
